Simple Gmail Merge ("us", "we", or "our") operates the https://sites.google.com/view/simple-mail-merge/home website (the "Service").
When you run this add-on for the first time, you will see a consent screen with the permissions it requires to work. Here is what each permission means:
Read, send, delete and manage your email
This permission is required for the add-on to send emails from your account. It does so using the Google Mail API, which gives all-or-nothing access to your emails. Although this permission is sought, we do not read, or delete or manage your existing email (other than drafts).
View and manage your spreadsheets that this application has been installed in
In order for the add-on to provide its services, it needs access to read from your spreadsheet and write back to them. For example, it needs to read the fields that are required to insert in the emails. It also needs to write back to the spreadsheet an updated status field. The records are processed within Google Spreadsheet Service, we do not collect or store any data from your spreadsheets. Further, we do not read or write data to any spreadsheet other than where the add-on is being run from.
Allow this application to run when you are not present
This permission allows the add-on to schedule emails. This feature is yet to be implemented, so even though this permission is sought, we do not run the application when you are not present.
We do not collect any information whatsoever from you.
When you send us an email or send feedback about the add-on, you are voluntarily giving us information and consent to this information being collected, used, and stored by us, as described in this Privacy Policy.
