Simple Chatting App (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
To provide real-time messaging, we collect the following:
Email address (for authentication)
User ID generated by Firebase Authentication
Chat messages sent and received within the app
Timestamps of messages
Device notification token (for push notifications)
We do not collect: Phone numbers, Contacts, Location data, or Payment information.
Simple Chatting App requires user authentication. Only authenticated users can access chats, send messages, or read messages. This ensures that your private conversations remain secure.
We use your information to:
Authenticate users securely.
Enable real-time messaging and display chat history.
Deliver push notifications and improve app reliability.
All data is stored securely using Google Firebase Firestore. Access is controlled by strict Firestore security rules; users can only access chats they are part of. Unauthorized access, reading, or writing of data is blocked.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only processed through Google Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Messaging), which comply with industry security standards.
Simple Chatting App uses push notifications to notify you of new messages. You can disable notifications anytime from your device settings.
We provide two mandatory ways for you to delete your account and all associated data (including email, user ID, and chat history):
In-App Deletion: You can delete your account directly within the app by navigating to Settings > Delete Account.

Retention: Once processed, your data is permanently removed from our Firebase servers within 7 days.
Simple Chatting App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Users must not use the app for:
Harassment, abuse, or threats.
Sharing illegal, violent, or explicit content.
Impersonation or spam. Accounts violating these rules may be suspended or terminated.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on this page.
