Yomify is a habit tracker built around a calendar, made by App-Production. This policy explains what information Yomify uses, why, and the choices you have.
You can use Yomify without signing up. Your calendars, habits, marks, counts, notes and reminders are then stored only on your device, and we don't receive them.
You can create a free account to back up your data and use it on more than one device. If you do, we store:
your email address and password (your password is stored securely by our sign-in provider, and we can't read it);
the name and profile photo you choose to add, if any;
your Yomify data: calendars, habits, marks and counts, notes, reminders, streak targets and settings, so they can sync between your devices;
basic information about the devices you use with your account: device type, model and name, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone and screen size, and when the app last synced or refreshed, to keep sync working and fix problems;
short error reports from the app, to fix bugs.
Yomify Premium is a subscription sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment, and we never see your card or payment details.
To unlock Premium, we receive the details of your purchase from Google Play: the purchase token, product, price and currency, order number, start and end dates, and status (for example renewed, cancelled or refunded). We also record the steps of buying (for example when the Premium screen is opened, or when a purchase starts, succeeds or fails), linked to a random identifier for your device and, if you're signed in, your account.
We use this to give you Premium, to restore it, to prevent fraud, and to keep accurate financial records.
Reminders you set are scheduled on your device. If you allow notifications, Yomify shows them at the time you chose. Yomify uses Android's exact alarm permission only so that reminders arrive on time.
We use information only to provide Yomify's features (sync, backup and Premium), to keep the app secure, to fix problems, and to improve the app. We don't sell your information, we don't use it for advertising, and Yomify doesn't show ads.
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, and purchases are processed by Google Play. These providers process data on our behalf. We don't share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Account data is protected so that only you can access it.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time:
in the app: tap your profile picture, open Profile, then tap Delete account; or
by emailing TheBloggerBoy254+deleteAccountRequest@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my Yomify account". We'll delete your account within 30 days.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, profile photo, synced data, device records and error reports. Purchase records are kept, no longer linked to you, because financial records must be kept by law. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play subscription: cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall Yomify or clear its data.
Yomify isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
