Simón Kraemer PhD Student Centro de Ecología Aplicada del Litoral (CONICET-UNNE)
I am currently a PhD student interested in genomics, ecology and conservation of grassland's birds from Corrientes, Argentina.
I am enrolled at the Biology PhD Program at the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (Argentina) under the direction of Cecilia Kopuchian and Leonardo Campagna. My research is being performed within the Laboratorio de Biologia de la Conservación at the Centro de Ecología Aplicada del Litoral (CECOAL, CONICET-UNNE).
I have obtained myLicenciatura degree in Biological Sciences at the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste. As part of my degree I have obtained a Friends of Fulbright Award at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, been part of the ESCALA Program at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brasil) and also obtained two undergraduate research grants (SGCyT-UNNE and EVC-CIN). For my PhD, I have obtained a CONICET Doctoral Fellowship and a Bergstrom Award (AFO) to finance my research.
