CV

Simone Priori (male, born 15/11/1980) is an associate professor of Pedology (AGR/14) at University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), in the Department of Agriculture and Forest Sciences (DAFNE), from February 2020. He is a pedologist with experience in digital soil mapping, soil description and classification, proximal soil sensing for high detailed soil mapping, supporting precision farming. Their research’s activities include soil mapping and monitoring for viticultural zoning, grapevine-soil relationships, and soil management in viticulture. He also conducted research on innovative methods for soil physics and hydrology, in particular on field and laboratory methods to analyze soil permeability, water volumes-tensions curve, and soil moisture monitoring.
