CV and Publications

A short bio

I work on several aspects of GW detection and implications for cosmology, tests of General Relativity, and astrophysics.

I obtained my bachelor's and master's in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Rome Sapienza (2010-2015).  Later, I was enrolled in a joint PhD program in Astrophysics at the Universities of Rome Tor Vergata and Sapienza (2015-2018).

In 2019 I moved to the Astroparticule et Cosmologie Laboratoire, Paris (FR), where I worked on GW-based cosmological measurements and tests of General Relativity. In 2021 I moved to the Observatoire de cote d'Azur (Nice, FR) to work on GWs astrophysical implications for the black hole origin. Since 2022 I got a permanent researcher position at the Italian Institute for Particle physics in Rome.

Most of my research is carried for the LIGO, Virgo and KAGRA collaboration where I developed several pipelines that are used to produce results in light of the collaboration. I am also active in shaping the observing scenario for cosmology and binaries population with the Einstein Telescope.

Publications

Below you can find a list of selected works about my research interests and a list of selected papers on which I have worked for the LIGO and Virgo collaboration. Contributions to LIGO and Virgo collaboration papers undergo internal peer-to-peer review to assess the quality and correctness of the analysis.
