Welcome!
About me
My name is Simone Ciarella, and I am a PostDoc researcher at the Laboratoire de Physique at École Normale Supérieure (LPENS), working at the interface between computational physics and artificial intelligence.
From biological materials to polymers, from disordered spins to artificial neurons, I am interested in modeling the complexity that surrounds us and understanding the collective effects that arise. In my research, I use a combination of machine learning and computer simulations to find order and design rules in this complex landscape, to ultimately advance science and technology.
You can see what I am currently working on here, and you can find my publications here.
