SIMONE ARRIGONI

I am a fourth year PhD Candidate in Economics at Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Agustín Bénétrix and Davide Romelli. I am a Research Affiliate of IM-TCD (International Macro - TCD), TRiSS (Trinity Research in Social Sciences), and the Central Bank of Ireland.

My research interests lie in the area of macroeconomics with a focus on the interplay between international macroeconomic dynamics and inequality in wealth and income.

Before joining Trinity, I worked in the International Policy Analysis division at the European Central Bank. I hold a Master's degree in Economics from Heidelberg University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business from University of Milano-Bicocca.

I am an organiser of the Young Irish Economists Seminar Series (YIESS) seminar series.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have thoughts or suggestions for my research!
