If a particular text may be objectionable to you or your child, please contact me so that we can discuss. An alternative selection could be substituted as a directed study. The student must make the choice before we begin the unit. Various assignments will be given, so several grades will depend upon the reading of this text. The student who chooses an alternative text will be given tests and composition assignments, but will not have the benefit of class discussion.
