Useful tips on the process of planning and writing a philosophy paper:
Peter Adamson's tips (focused on writing history of philosophy)
For many more such guides, see this list of lists of tips.
Philosophy Compass - good, accessible opinionated overviews of the latest work on particular topics, often with annotated reading lists for more research (full disclosure: I have cowritten one such overview)
Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy - excellent overviews of the literature on particular topics. Often longer and more involved than Philosophy Compass articles. Make sure to check how recently a given article was written/majorly revised if you need to ensure they are completely up to date
PhilPapers - a useful database for finding philosophy papers and books, which you can search or browse by topic and sub-topic, easily see other works by the same author, papers related to one you are looking at (e.g. with similar keywords, or papers which are cited by/have cited this paper) etc. Often also has links to archived free versions of papers even when the official version is behind a paywall
GoogleScholar - a database of academic papers generally, not just in Philosophy. Also good for searching for papers on particular topics, though it doesn't organise them into categories in the same way as philpapers. Entries include information about related papers, and includes metrics such as impact factor of the journal and how many citations the author's works in general have. Note that I recommend (1) avoiding the AI-based 'ScholarLabs', and (2) treating citation-based metrics as only a very rough way of assessing the quality of an article/journal/author's work
