I am Simon, a mathematician with a PhD in fundamental mathematics from the University of Paris-Saclay. I am currently a postdoc at the IMB in Bordeaux, supervised by Baptiste Louf. I completed my PhD under the supervision of Maxim Kontsevitch and Anton Zorich at IHES. The title of my dissertation is "Geometric Recursion and Volumes of Moduli Spaces: Oriented Ribbon Graphs, Acyclic Decomposition, 'Cut-and-Join' Operators". I am primarily interested in low-dimensional geometry and topology. Here are some subjets on which I have worked over the past few years :
-Theory of moduli spaces of flat and hyperbolic surfaces,
-Combinatorial moduli spaces of metric ribbon graphs,
-Thurston works on surfaces and measured foliations,
-Enumerative geometry, hurwitz theory,
-Topological recursion relations and Cut-and-Join equations,
-Dynamic on the moduli space of flat surfaces,
I am also interested in integrable systems, random models on surfaces, and probabilities.
