August, 2026, in Xi'an, China
I am a third-year master student in the Department of Linguistics at Beijing Language and Culture University, co-supervised by Prof. Fuzhen Si (Beijing Language and Culture University) and Prof. Zhuosi Luo (Beijing Foreign Studies University).
My research interest mainly lies in syntax (especially phrasal movement and A/Ā-distinction) and its interface with morphology and semantics. I have been exploring cross-linguistic non-nominal phrasal movement exhibiting A-properties, with a focus on VP-fronting in Mandarin verb-copying constructions. I am also interested in definiteness in languages without overt articles.
