We are a passionate research team led by Dr. Simeng Li at Cal Poly Pomona. Our research centers on engineering renewable materials and developing sustainable technologies to address major challenges at the nexus of water, energy, and agriculture. We welcome self-movitated undergraduate and graduate students who share the same research interests to join us.

We are located in the Department of Civil Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona. As an inclusive polytechnic university, Cal Poly Pomona cultivates student success through experiential learning, discovery, and innovation. The Department has the largest undergraduate Civil Engineering program in the United States (ranked 5th nationally among public and private universities where docotrate not offered) and produces approximately 15 percent of young civil engineers in California.

We actively collaborate with federal and state agencies, technology companies, corporations, as well as other higher education institutions locally, nationally, and internationally. We are grateful for our partners' collaboration, expertise, and creativity.
