RULES AND REGULATION
ISSUE/RETURN
Books will be issued for a period of 15 days only and will not be renewed further.
Books must be returned on or before the due date failing which a fine of Rs 5/- per day will be charged.
Students should produce their identity card at the time of issue or on demand in the Library.
If the Book is lost or damaged, the borrower must replace the book with new copy of latest edition.
If pages of any Book/Periodical are to be photocopied permission of the Librarian in writing is to be taken.
Students must return all the Library Books, Periodicals borrowed by him/her and clear all the Library dues before applying for a Library clearance certificate.
Marking, defacing of Books/Periodicals, writing, do-gearing of pages etc are offences that may deprive students his/her privilege.
The borrowing facility can be withdrawn or restricted in case of misbehavior or misuse of the library.
Reference Books/Journals will be issued in the library premises only and Reprography service will be made available, if necessary.
Reproduction of project reports in any form is strictly prohibited (Scanned copy, Xerox, etc.)
READING ROOM.
Library timings will be from 9.00 a.m to 9.30.00 p.m for reading. Issue and return of books will be between 9.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Reference Books and Journals are to be refer in the Library only and they cant be taken outside the Library.
Eating, Sleeping and Talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the Library.
News papers and Magazine must be read only in the Library and should not be taken outside.
Students should maintain strict silence, decorum and discipline in the Library.
Students are expected to respect the Library staff and failing to do so severe action will be taken against them.
Students are expected to be fully aware of rules and regulations and responsible behavior. Any breache of the Library rules or any irresponsible behavior on the use of the facilities will invite disciplinary action.
Use of Mobile Phone in the Library is strictly prohibited.
BOOK BANK SYSTEM
Every student will get Five books in book bank system according to their syllabus.
Books will be issued for the whole semester. The books should be returned on the last day of the examination. If the student fails to do so, he will be given extension of 8 days. If after 8 days the students fail to return the same, then he will be liable to pay the fine of Rs. 50 per day till he returns the book.
No book in damaged condition will be accepted by the library. Mutilated or spoiled books will either have to be replaced by the borrower or will have to pay the fine of Rs. 1000 or cost of the book whichever is higher. In case of books lost, the borrower will have to pay the aforesaid fine.
In addition to the books received under book bank scheme, every student can issue 2 books from the library for the period of 15 days. If the books are not returned on or before 15th day, the borrower will have to pay the fine of Rs. 5 per day till he returns the same.
The readers should check the book thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, pictures etc., while borrowing the book.
Students are expected to be fully aware of rules and regulations and are expected to behave responsibly. Any breach of the Library rules or any irresponsible behavior will invite disciplinary action.
