I have joined UCL as a lecturer in September 2020 working in the Department of Computer Science within the Financial Computing and Analytics Group.
My current research interests include new applications of distributed ledger technologies, mathematical modelling and data analysis of current trends and issues emerging in digital economies.
Over the last two years, I worked at Imperial College Business School as Research Associate in the Department of Finance within the Centre for Financial Technology led by Prof. A. Kirilenko and Prof. G. Chemla. I am currently affiliated with the Centre and contribute as visiting lecturer with a module on "Blockchain and Applications" to the Masters in Finance within the Business School.
I also have experience working within the private sector for a tech startup in London specialising in blockchain technology.
I have a background in Theoretical Physics from Sapienza University in Rome and I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from King's College London.
