Welcome to Silverwater Campground

1. Camping is on a reservation system. If you do not have a reservation, please see a host before choosing a site.

2. Unattended camping vehicles & equipment can only be left on a site if fees are paid. Rented campsites must have a camping unit present to show that the site has been taken.

3. No washing of campers, vehicles, or boats is allowed in the recreation area.

4. Bicycles, skateboards, or scooter riding are prohibited from dusk to dawn. Safety helmets should be worn.

5. Check-in at 2:00 pm and check-out at 12pm. 

6. Visitors are permitted between 6 am and 10 pm.

7. There are only two pets per campsite. Pets must always be on a leash (six feet max) or crated. A third pet may be approved by management depending on size and breed. Pets are prohibited on the beach and adjacent picnic areas. Owners must pick up after their pets. Pets must be supervised at the campsite and accompany their owner when leaving the campground. A $50 fine will be imposed if you do not clean up after your pet. 

8. Quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am. Disruptive campers will be reported to the police and asked to vacate the campground without reimbursement. Please turn off any music, generators, or disruptive lights  

9. Place all trash in dumpsters except fish debris. Please get in touch with the campground host on duty for instructions on how to dispose of fish scraps.

10. Campfires must be contained in metal fire rings. All firewood must be pre-cut and not include construction debris or pallets. No out-of-county firewood is allowed to be brought into the campground. Do not cut, damage, or drive nails into trees—no removal of limbs, brush, or any wood from a wooded area. Please do not burn trash in fire rings. Firewood can be bought at the office. 

11. Observe posted speed limit signs throughout the recreation area.

12. All appliances must be kept inside the camping unit (no freezers or refrigerators are to be outside).

13. Satellite dishes, power cords, and pet crates must remain within the impact zone of the campsite.

14. Dumping waste or gray water onto the ground is prohibited.

15. Fireworks are not permitted on the property. 

16. All sites are back-in only. 

17. Campground activities are generally safe but undertaken at individual risk. Visitors and campers assume responsibility for any associated hazards. The campground is not responsible for injuries like fire or death.

18. The owner and Silverwater Campgrounds are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.
