Skill Issue is developed and published by CortisolClub, operated by Ben Carr.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download, install or use Skill Issue.
Skill Issue does not require users to create a CortisolClub account.
The game integrates Google Play Games Services to provide features including player authentication and global leaderboards.
When Google Play Games Services is used, Google may process information including:
Your Google Play Games gamer identity, such as your gamertag and player identifier.
Gameplay information submitted to leaderboards, including scores and progression statistics.
Information about interactions with Google Play Games features.
Diagnostic and analytics information used to maintain and improve Google Play Games Services.
Skill Issue currently uses Google Play Games Services for leaderboards including:
Highest Score.
Highest Round.
Lifetime Runs.
Lifetime Laps.
CortisolClub does not sell personal information.
Skill Issue does not currently contain advertising or third-party advertising SDKs.
Skill Issue uses Google Play Games Services, which is provided by Google.
When you use Play Games features, relevant information is transmitted between the game and Google Play Games Services.
Leaderboard information may include your submitted gameplay statistics and your Google Play Games gamer identity.
Depending on your Google Play Games privacy and profile settings, your gamer identity and leaderboard information may be visible to other players through public or social leaderboards.
Google processes Play Games information according to Google's own privacy policies and account settings.
Skill Issue does not currently use Google Play Games Saved Games or Recall features.
Skill Issue also stores limited game information locally on your device. This may include:
Your best score.
Your best round.
Lifetime gameplay statistics.
Game settings, such as sound and vibration preferences.
Cosmetic unlock progress and selected cosmetics.
Most local gameplay data remains on your device.
However, gameplay statistics used by Google Play Games leaderboards are also submitted to Google Play Games Services.
Local game information can be removed by clearing Skill Issue's application data through your device settings or by uninstalling the game.
Removing local application data does not necessarily remove information stored by Google Play Games Services.
Local Skill Issue data can be deleted by clearing the game's application data or uninstalling the game.
Google provides controls for deleting Play Games information associated with individual games or for deleting a user's entire Play Games profile. These controls are available through the user's Google Play Games profile and Google Account settings.
Deleting Google Play Games data does not necessarily delete locally stored Skill Issue data.
CortisolClub does not currently provide a separate in-game mechanism for deleting information stored by Google Play Games Services.
If you have contacted CortisolClub directly by email or through another feedback channel, you may contact us to request deletion of correspondence or personal information that you voluntarily provided to us.
Skill Issue may use your device's vibration functionality to provide optional haptic feedback during gameplay.
This permission does not provide CortisolClub with access to personal files, contacts, location, camera or microphone data.
Vibration can be disabled through the game's settings.
If you voluntarily contact CortisolClub by email, through a testing group or through a feedback form, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as:
Your email address or display name.
Your device model and Android version.
Bug reports.
Gameplay feedback.
Screenshots or other information you voluntarily attach.
Other message content.
This information is used only where reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, investigate technical problems, maintain development records or improve the game.
CortisolClub does not sell this information.
Feedback and correspondence are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.
You may request deletion of correspondence you have sent directly to CortisolClub by contacting us.
Skill Issue is distributed through Google Play and integrates Google Play Games Services.
Google may process information when you:
Download or update the game.
Use Google Play.
Sign in to or interact with Google Play Games Services.
Submit or view leaderboard information.
Use other Google services connected to your account.
This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policies and account settings.
Skill Issue does not currently contain third-party advertising SDKs.
CortisolClub does not operate a separate third-party analytics platform within Skill Issue. Google Play Games Services does, however, automatically process certain analytics and diagnostic information as part of providing its services.
If you contact CortisolClub using services such as Gmail, Google Groups or Google Forms, those services may also process information according to their own privacy terms.
Information transmitted through Google Play Games Services is handled using Google's security infrastructure.
CortisolClub takes reasonable measures to protect information voluntarily submitted through support and feedback channels against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Locally stored game information is also protected by the security measures provided by your device and operating system.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Skill Issue may be made available to a general audience that includes younger players.
The game does not ask users to provide their real name, email address, postal address, telephone number or other contact information as part of normal gameplay.
Google Play Games Services may process gamer identity, gameplay and technical information as described elsewhere in this policy and according to Google's own privacy practices.
CortisolClub does not knowingly use personal information from children for advertising or marketing purposes.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has voluntarily provided personal information directly to CortisolClub through an external communication channel, they may contact us so that the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights concerning personal information that you have provided to CortisolClub, including rights to:
Request access to personal information.
Request correction or deletion.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Make a complaint to an appropriate data-protection authority.
In the United Kingdom, concerns about data-protection matters may be raised with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Information handled by Google Play Games Services should generally be managed using the privacy, account and deletion controls provided by Google.
CortisolClub may update this Privacy Policy when Skill Issue's features or data-handling practices change.
The Privacy Policy and Google Play Data Safety declaration will be reviewed before introducing features that materially change how information is processed, such as:
Advertising.
Additional analytics services.
Online CortisolClub accounts.
Cloud saves.
In-app purchases.
Additional social or multiplayer features.
Any updated version of this policy will include a revised effective date.
