Silvana Delgado Andrade

Hi, I’m Silvana, an astrophysicist originally from Ecuador. I recently completed my Ph.D. in Astronomy at Texas A&M University, where I studied the evolution of the most massive galaxies in the local Universe and the supermassive black holes at their centers. My research focuses on galaxies from the MASSIVE Survey, using stellar dynamics to understand how these complex giants formed and evolved.

Beyond science, I am a natural adventurer and explorer. I enjoy connecting with people and learning about different cultures. I spend much of my free time exploring communities across my home country, Ecuador. I’m also an avid rock climber and proudly competed with the Texas A&M Climbing Team.
