TV, Internet and
Starlink
How you are connected.
The primary internet supplier is Starlink with rates averaging 120 Mbps and up rates of 25 Mbps. The Silo House is 800 feet away from a new fiber optic switch which was installed under a program to connect rural America. This gives the house 40 Mbps service that is delivered to eight endpoints be an Ethernet switch, which includes the three tv sets. The system also provides WiFi connectivity. This allows you to use your accounts to connect to all major download providers. The two systems are very reliable but if one fails there is a ready to use backup.
The house also has an antenna that captures about 20 TV channels including all of the major TV networks. A DVD supports the master bedroom.
The loft study desk can connect to the web by an Ethernet plug or WiFi.
