This classroom-based research explores the use of body mapping to enhance the personal and professional development of counselor trainees. Body mapping was used as a pedagogical practice and method of self-inquiry in a group of eight counselor trainees. The focus was on the benefits and limitations of body mapping, and what counselor trainees learned by engage in the process.
In this lecture series, planned for the 2026-2026 academic year, I will share my expertise in attachment focused experiential psychotherapy with an emphasis on both theory and practice interventions. Topics will include attachment perspective on psychopathology, working experientially and relationally, core affective experience, and defensive affects. Stay tuned!
