App Name: Silentmeet
Developer: JoeJan Apps

Silentmeet helps users attend meetings, events, interviews, or focused sessions without interruptions from unwanted calls. The app can silence calls during selected periods, allow VIP contacts and repeat callers through as possible emergencies, and prepare draft reply messages for callers to let them know the user is currently unavailable.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Silentmeet collects, how it is used, and how we protect user privacy.
Account Information (Google Sign-In) Silentmeet uses Google Sign-In for account authentication. When you sign in, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo URL from your Google account. This information is used to identify your account, manage subscription entitlements, and enable sign-in across up to two devices.
VIP Contacts Silentmeet allows users to save VIP callers. VIP callers may be allowed to ring during silent sessions, and repeated calls may be allowed through as possible emergencies (for example, three calls from the same number within a short time window).
VIP contact details (names and phone numbers) are stored locally on your device only. Silentmeet does not upload your contact list or VIP contact details to our servers.
Call Handling Data Silentmeet uses Android's call screening system to detect and manage incoming calls in real time. To detect repeated/emergency calls, Silentmeet stores recent call attempt timestamps and session history locally on your device only — this data is never uploaded to our servers and is not linked to caller identity beyond the phone number needed for local matching.
Calendar Events (Optional, Premium) Silentmeet may allow users to link Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook Calendar, including secondary and shared calendars where accessible. Calendar access is used only to read meeting/event information and display it inside the app, or to automatically start a session around a scheduled event. Calendar data is not uploaded to our servers, not shared with third parties, and not included in reply messages unless the user specifically chooses to include it.
Do Not Disturb / Quiet Mode Detection With your permission, Silentmeet can detect when your device's Do Not Disturb or Silent mode is turned on or off, and automatically start or stop a silent session accordingly. This detection happens entirely on your device — Silentmeet does not access, record, or transmit any other notification content, and this feature can be turned off at any time in Settings.
Messages Selected by the User Silentmeet prepares draft reply messages (predefined or custom) for callers who were silenced during your session. These drafts are shown to you after your session ends. Silentmeet does not send any message automatically — you must review and tap Send yourself, which opens your device's own messaging app with the draft pre-filled. Draft message templates are stored locally on your device.
Subscription and Billing Information Silentmeet uses Google Play Billing for subscriptions. We store subscription status, plan type, renewal date, and Google Play purchase tokens in our cloud database to manage your premium access. This data is used only for entitlement verification and is not shared with third parties beyond what's necessary for Google Play billing processing.
Device Information To enforce a limit of 2 active devices per account, we store a device identifier and device label (e.g. "Pixel 8") along with the last sign-in time for each device linked to your account. This is used only for device management and is visible to you in the app's account settings, where you can remove a device at any time.
Silentmeet does not request SMS or Call Log permissions and cannot read your text messages or call history from other apps.
Silentmeet uses collected information only for the following purposes:
To authenticate users via Google Sign-In.
To manage subscription status and premium access via Google Play Billing.
To identify VIP callers locally on the device.
To allow emergency repeated calls based on the app's call rules.
To read calendar events and show them inside the app, or trigger a session automatically around a scheduled event.
To detect Do Not Disturb / Silent mode changes and start or stop a session accordingly, if enabled.
To prepare draft reply messages for you to review and send yourself after a session ends.
To enforce the 2-device limit per account.
To improve app reliability, security, and user experience.
Silentmeet does not sell user data.
Silentmeet does not share contacts, VIP contact details, calendar events, custom messages, or call attempt data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Data may be processed by trusted service providers used to operate the app, including Google Sign-In (authentication), Google Cloud Firestore (cloud database), Google Play Billing (subscription verification), and calendar provider APIs (Google/Microsoft, only if linked by the user). These services are used only to provide app functionality, security, and subscription management.
VIP contact details, call attempt timestamps, session history, and custom auto-reply messages are stored locally on your device. Silentmeet does not store these on our servers.
Users can remove VIP contacts from inside the app, or uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.
Calendar access is optional and used only if you link a calendar account. Calendar data is not used for advertising and is not shared with other companies. You can unlink calendar access from inside the app, or revoke permissions from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Silentmeet is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including Firestore security rules that restrict data access to the account owner and our backend services. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
We retain cloud-stored account, device, and subscription information only as long as necessary to provide the app's core features. Locally stored data remains on your device unless deleted by you or removed when the app is uninstalled.
You can manage app permissions from your device settings, and remove linked devices from the app's account settings.
To delete your account: open Silentmeet, go to Account, and tap "Delete Account." You will be asked to confirm. Your account profile, subscription records, and device records are deleted immediately upon confirmation.
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion at: https://silent-meet-13ca9.web.app/delete-account.html
Purchase transaction records may be retained separately as required for tax and legal compliance, even after account deletion.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
