My Story

Photography services can be complicated. My first experience using a professional photographer was in Highschool for senior photos. After being charged $600 for two hours, we went to pick up the photos and were met with a sales agent. They sat down with us, used a slideshow to show off the photos, and revealed each digital-download would cost $50. We then learned that with a $600 photography session, we were only offered a $300 "credit", and the rest of the photos were behind a paywall. In short, for $600, I received six photos; had I purchased the rest, it would have cost over $2,000.

My mindset became determined: photography services can and should be high-quality and affordable. 

One of my largest frustrations is seeing other photographers participate in a wide variety of poor business activities. The most common?

• Overcharge and Underdeliver: Photographers commonly deliver 10-20 photographs for a $200+ session.

• Lack of a Personal Touch: Lots of Photographers will use a quick "preset" to edit photos, leading to zero personalized photos.

• No Commitment to Clients: "Experienced Photographers" will often be focused on the monetary aspect of a business/client relationship.

As someone who is aware of how hard photography services can be to navigate, I wanted to provide the best value. The result? I work for you. Here's how I'm different:

• Overdeliver & Undercharge: I want all my clients to LOVE their results, and therefore work hard to understand and exceed your needs. Additionally, I am upfront that photography services are expensive, but I feel confident that given my experience, you can feel confident you are receiving the best value for the price.

• Capture Everything: I routinely take hundreds of photos each hour to ensure we capture the best moment where you look and feel your best! Filtering through these photos takes time, but my clients deserve to feel confident we captured the entire moment.

• Clear Policies: I always strive to make session terms clear & concise. Some policies are included for legal protections, but I do my best to keep it 'simple'; this is one of the many ways I try to protect your time!

• Committed to Results: My services are focused on your "results": therefore, I'm always willing to make changes if a client wants to try out a different look and see that reflected in their results*.

• No Upselling: The photos I take, filter through, and edit, will all be yours. If you would like to order a physical print or copy of your photographs, I would be happy to provide one for an additional fee. But otherwise, you can feel confident that there is NO upselling after you have booked & paid for your session.
