Every calendar year, a group of six of the fraternities strongest leaders step up to fill the roles of our executive council and lead our organization. These elected gentleman are the embodiment of what it means to be a Sigma Pi and serve as strong liaisons between our chapter and the CSU/Fort Collins community.
Below, we outline each of the six positions and their corresponding roles...
President (Sage) - Serves as the administrative head of the chapter. Responsible for keeping order during all chapter meetings and ensures that meetings are both efficient and effective. Also serves as our chapter delegate to attend all weekly university sanctioned Inter Fraternity Council meetings. With serving as the main face of the fraternity, it is imperative that the president is both an example and inspiration to his brothers who sets a precedent of success for the chapter.
Current President - Jared Taylor
Vice President (Second Counselor) - Assists the Sage in all chapter matters and, in the absence of the Sage, fills in and performs the duties of the presiding officer. Most importantly, the vice president is responsible for organizing and directing the work of all chapter committees. This includes conducting weekly committee head meetings to ensure committee goals are being met, and if not, assisting committee heads in doing so.

Treasurer (Third Counselor) - This position ensures that all financial obligations of the chapter are met, all financial records are kept, and the financial affairs of the chapter are kept in order. The treasurer is responsible for collecting all chapter funds, managing our chapter budget, and handling monetary transactions in regards to committee expenditures.

Secretary (Fourth Counselor) - The Fourth Counselor records and preserves the minutes of every chapter meeting, keeps an accurate chapter roster, records attendance at all meetings, and is responsible for notifying the Grand Chapter of new initiates, new officers and other chapter activities. It's imperative that the secretary is both efficient and organized in his work.

Sergeant-at-Arms (First Counselor) - The First Counselor serves as the head of risk management and alumni relations for the chapter. As the head of risk management, he ensures the safety of our members at all chapter or university events. This involves assuring that all national fraternity and university safety policies are complied with. In regards to alumni relations, the first counselor should maintain an up-to-date contact list for all alumni and make strong efforts to organize alumni events. Lastly, the first counselor is responsible for the care of all chapter ritual equipment and for preparing the chapter room for meetings and initiations.
Current Sergeant-at-Arms - John Redding
Herald - The herald serves as the chapters historian, ritualist and head of public relations. He should keep an up-to-date scrapbook of all significant fraternity events and ensure that the chapters history is properly documented. The Herald is responsible for leading all ritual, pinning and graduate ceremonies. Lastly, we recently added the responsibility of public relations officer under the Herald's job title. This includes running all necessary chapter social media accounts, helping advertise chapter events, and increasing chapter branding throughout campus.
