After the second chapter of SIGMA24, the 3rd Summer Internship SIGMA25 is announced. For details, visit the official site sites.google.com/view/sigma25/home
After receiving several requests from all over the country, the decision to conduct SIGMA24 offline is changed.
Due to several parameters including the financial obstacle, it is decided the program will be executed online for the benefits of the interns. However, the availability of the internship certificates will be strictly subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria by the interns, which includes attendance and submission of assignments etc.
The viewers are advised to check this google sheet link on a regular basis.
The selected interns for Phase-I are already intimated through email as invitee to the program. After getting their consent by 6th July 10 AM, the candidates of waiting list would be intimated.
The last date of submission of registration form for Phase-I of SIGMA24 is extended till 5th July 2024, 5 PM.
The applicants must go through all the necessary details of submission procedure and apply on or before the deadline. The submission must be done on or before 5 pm of 5th July 2024. No more submission thereafter will be accepted.
Please note that, the program is tentatively decided to be conducted OFFLINE. Hence the selected candidates will require to attend the class sessions cum training periods in physical mode at the venue The Heritage College, Kolkata. Also, on 5th July itself the entrance exam will be conducted at 7PM, and will be ended by 9:30 PM via online mode. The merit list will get published on the same day after 10 PM itself.
The entrance exam is preponed on 5th July 2024, Thursday from 7 PM to 9:30 PM (earlier it was scheduled on 6th July 10 AM to 12:30 PM). The applicants are advised to go through the details here
Some of the applicants have submitted the applications in incorrect format (e.g. (i) Not changing the settings of the shared google links as per instructions, (ii) not providing the contact details of HOD, (iii) not going through the eligibility criteria etc.)
The applicants are being alerted about the matter, submission of inappropriate application will not suffice to get selected for the program unless they modify their applications in well advance.
No decision regarding online session is taken yet. The candidates are advised to take decision before applying assuming the strong possibility of conducting the program in OFFLINE mode.
The registration link of application form for SIGMA24 is open now. The students are advised to fill in the necessary details and submit on or before the deadline 3rd July 2024, 2 P.M.
