NARVA CASTLE

It is one of Estonia’s oldest and biggest calstles, which along with the Ivangorod fortress forms a unique ensemble you won’t be able to see anywhere else in Northern Europe.

NARVA BASTIONS

The first Narva Bastions were built in 1630s. All the bastions except Fama Bastion have survived util today.

VICTORIA BASTION

After the bastion’s complete restoration in 2015 it has become one of the main tourist attractions in the region. During a guided tour through the tunnels of the bastion you will learn a lot of interesting facts about Narva’s history, its myths and legends.

ALEXANDER'S CATHEDRAL

The cathedral was built in 1881–1884 for the Lutheran workers of Krenholm Manufacturing Company. In 1944, the bell tower along with a Walcker organ that was located there was destroyed. Today, the cathedral’s bell tower has been restored.


RESSURECTION OF CHRIST ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL

It was built in 1890-1896 for the orthodox workers of Kreenholm Manufactory. In 1944 during World War II, the bombing of the city left the church almost untouched.

ART GALLERY

The gallery, which was founded in the 1990s, is the art centre of Ida-Viru County. The collection of Russian art given to the Narva Museum by Mr. and Mrs. Lavretsov is stored there.


NARVA RIVER PROMENADE

The River Promenade is about 1 km long and situated on the river bank in the historical heart of Narva. It's probably the most favorite place for walking both among Narva residents and guests .


NARVA TOWN HALL

The Town Hall was built in the second half of the 17th century. The building is a very interesting baroque architecture ensemble.


NARVA COLLEGE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TARTU

The Narva College of the University of Tartu was built in 2012 in Town hall Square in place of Narva’s no longer existent old stock exchange building. The facade of the college along with its „reversed“ roof imitates the facade of the Stock Exchange building.

DARK GARDEN

This is Narva’s oldest park, an example of park architecture from the end of the 19th century. Located on the bastions.

THE MONUMENT "SWEDISH LION"

It is a monument dedicated to the victory of Swedish king Karl XII over Russian army in the Battle of Narva in 1700.

MONUMENT TO PAUL KERES

The monument dedicated to the 100th birthday of Paul Keres, an Estonian chess player and international grandmaster, is located on a square between Puškin Street and Peeter Square.
