Paul Kimball has been active in the arts in Stockton, California since 1981. He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music and Holy Names University, where he earned a Master's Degree in the Kodaly Method. Before retiring in May 2024, Paul taught in the Lincoln Unified School District for 33 years; the first 20 years as a classroom music and choir teacher at Tully C. Knoles and the remainder as choir director at Sierra Middle School and Lincoln High School. Paul's other accolades include serving as a Visiting Lecturer in the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music for several semesters over the past 26 years, playing third horn with the Stockton Symphony for 27 years, serving as musical director for over 60 musicals, and conducting the Zion Chamber Orchestra, a professional ensemble in Stockton. He is married to Dr. Dominee Muller-Kimball. Dominee and Paul were awarded the 2018 Star Award by the Stockton Arts Commission. He is the author of "We are all Human Beings/An Adoptee Ponders." They have two daughters, Alyssa, 28, and Ashley, 32.
