GIS Pilcomayo is a platform that centralizes the exchange, generation, and updating of standardized geographic data (OGC) for the Pulso-Pilcomayo project, functioning as an accessible repository that channels map and data requests for scientists, decision-makers, and the general public. Its methodology is based on three user roles: Editor (generates or updates data in the field), Publisher (publishes data and generates customized maps), and Tester (verifies the veracity of data and metadata); a single user can serve in multiple roles, ensuring that all published information includes metadata referencing its authors.
You can explore and use our geographic database through two platforms:
Ideal for users working with the ESRI ecosystem (e.g., ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro): https://arcg.is/GSqXv0
Compatible with QGIS and other open source software: https://irdgeonode.geovisor.org
If you need a custom map for a presentation, article, thesis, or report, you can request it through:
Our Telegram group: SIG Pilcomayo

We will convert your data into the appropriate format and host it on the following platforms: ArcGIS Online and/or GeoNode. This way, your data will be available online, always acknowledging your authorship and the original source of the information. Additionally, we can generate a high-quality map (PDF, JPG, etc.) ready for publishing or printing.
Story Maps is an app that lets you tell the story of your field mission through interactive maps, photos, and videos.
