Pigeons

Pigeon droppings can kill vegetation, permanently discolor car paint, and will attract more pigeons. They can carry a range of diseases including histoplasmosis, psittacosis, and encephalitis. The disruption of their droppings creates dust that spreads these diseases.

Bats

Bat droppings are dangerous. The most common disease transmitted is histoplasmosis which can be transmitted when inhaling disrupted spores. This disease is very hard to diagnose and can be fatal if left untreated. Bats can squeeze through holes and cracks as small as 6 mm, roughly the size of a dime.

Squirrels

Although they are cute and furry, these critters can cause serious structural damage. Chewing on wood, wires, and electrical cables. They are known to tear up insulation, fabrics, and paper products for nesting material. Squirrels will defecate and urinate where ever they are present and can spread the same diseases as rats and mice.

Raccoons

Raccoons are known for going through trash cans but can also cause structural damage to ventilation systems, insulation, and walls. They can carry rabies and their feces and urine contain parasites and other diseases.

Rats & Mice

Disease carriers of salmonella, hantavirus, and listeria but can also carry pests such as ticks, fleas and lice. Rats and mice can be a big problem if left untreated for too long, having up to 12 babies every 3 weeks. These little critters can squeeze into nickel sized holes and can chew through walls, solid wood, and wiring. Even sealed food in the pantry is at risk.

Snakes

Snakes are always a nuisance. they hide very well under rocks and bushes and if threatened can bite in the blink of an eye. Poisonous snakes can be deadly to adults, children and animals.

Skunks

Although they can spray a horrible stench that can cause intense nausea and vomiting and if sprayed in the eyes, can cause blindness, there are other things to watch out for with these animals. They can carry rabies that can be transmitted to humans as well as other animals. They can also cause a lot of damage to homes and sheds, often borrowing under decks and porches.
