About the Sire:
"Pikko del Cerro’s career began with a record setting score of 90% at the prestigious Dressage at Devon Breed Show and he was named Champion Stallion in 2009. That same year, Cerro won his first National Championship at the USEF Six-Year Old National Championships. He had subsequent wins in the USEF Developing Prix St. Georges & Developing Grand Prix Championships as well. Under Lisa Wilcox, Pikko del Cerro HU graduated to the International CDI Grand Prix ring and had multiple CDI wins with scores over 70%.
His sire, Pik L, earned 128 points overall at his 100-day Test. His extensive show career has included two Pan-American Games, USDF Horse of the Year titles, and three USEF Junior National Championships with 3 different riders. Cerro’s damsire, Rohdiamant, was long-listed for the US Olympic Team with rider Lisa Wilcox. As a breeding stallion his influence will be felt for generations to come. Grandsire Grundstein II was a versatile sire of both dressage and show jumping horses that have competed at the WEG and Olympic Games.
The first Pikko del Cerro foals arrived in 2014. They show his correct conformation, charming expression, and athletic movement. With his retirement from international sport, we are finally able to make this exceptional stallion available to breeders and we’re looking forward with great excitement to his future foal crops."

Sternlicht is out of an Elite Mare by Rascalino. She is an eighth generation Elite Mare and her dam is a full sister to the Champion mare SPS Wisconsin.

He earned multiple Championships as a two-year old and Reserve Champion for USDF Horse of the Year honors and Champion for All-Breeds awards with a median score over 82%. Sternlicht began showing undersaddle early in 2014 competing in the USEF 4-Year Old classes. He earned scores as high as 8.5 throughout the season and easily qualified for the USEF/Markel Young Horse National Championships where he finished in 8th place. His year-end median score also tied him for the American Hanoverian Society’s USEF Four Year Old Division Championship.
