power of two animatic pg1
For a short time I considered making the comic an animatic. Didn't happen. This was a test panel.
She's one of two heroes. Her power is redirecting, amplifying, and weakening light.
At the beginning of the story, she's kind of a lone wolf, going through school with no friends, no nothing. At the time, she's seemingly an average introverted guy, but a bit on the rowdy side. But she doesn't do well with friends, and tends to push people away on purpose.. as though she's better off alone, or others are better off without her.
But eventually it occurs to her, guys generally don't want to be girls.. When it becomes apparent she's probably trans, (she is.) she doesn't really get surprised. Just kind of goes along with it.

At that realization, she prefers being in her powered-up, more feminine form. She also chooses to keep her name's root at the most, going with the feminine version if not keeping the original entirely.
As the story goes on, she warms up to being friends with the other girl hero, and accepts her part as a member of the dynamic duo. Still, she likes her edgy sort of style.
The other of two heroes. She's far more timid and creative, often with paint stains on her outfit. She creates and paints clay models fairly frequently.
Going with the sculpting theme, her power is to reshape and transform anything or anyone into anything or anyone else. Within size constraints, that is.
Naturally she's in the same trans boat. Realizes something's up on the gender front, and her powers start eeking out. However, she doesn't take the trans revalation nearly as well.
While the other girl pushes people away, this girl is rather clingy. She tends to feel down when she doesn't have anyone to talk to.. At the same time, she tends to overdo it with clay figure creation when nobody's around. Burnout.. Reflection of myself.
She's very supportive for the other girl's soft side..
"Dark Monster"
