Denim Jackets For Sale:
“Opposites Attract” $305
Opposites Attract? Yup! If you look at the Color Wheel, you see that colors on opposite sides of the wheel complement each other. A little lesson in color theory for you. In this case, Blue, one of the three primary colors, is opposite Red and Yellow, the other two primary colors, which together make Orange! So, this was a play with blues and oranges in glass beads and a variety of different embroidery stitches and shapes. I let my creativity run wild with this and loved it! I also like that it looks very subdued on the front with no decoration, and then you turn around and… wow! This took about 40 hours of hand stitching to complete!
Materials: This is a pre-owned Denim Collection denim jacket Size S made of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. I sewed on a variety of glass beads. It was also hand embroidered by me with bullion knots, French knots, satin stitch, buttonhole stitch, seed stitch, chain stitch, fishbone, running stitch, woven wheel and woven patches. Can you identify them all?

Tame the Dragon $285
I came across this stunning piece of Asian themed fabric and just had to help the dragons come alive. I cut out a couple and beaded them like crazy and then stitched them to this denim jacket. Not Your Baby $150
I was channeling Miley Cyrus’ “I can buy myself flowers” as I stitched this. In other words, this is a jacket for a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need a man to make her happy. The detail on the sleeve shows she’s been through a few heartbreaks – Rocco, Harvey and Mickey’s names have all been crossed out (no, not my past boyfriend’s names). She’s now focused on herself. You go girl!

SOLD - Windswept $100
I am amazed at how something as simple as a continuous line can turn into something as graceful as this windswept horse. It is a discreet design on the back that really can be worn with anything because it does not dominate the jacket.

I also added colored fabric to the folded cuffs to extend the fun.
