Join us at 5:00pm to learn the Peabody! The lesson will be led by Roddy Caravella and Gretchen Fenston. The social dance will continue after the lesson concludes around 5:45pm. The Dance floor will be open throughout the course of the event.
Grab your friends and join in a for an exciting croquet tournament! Sets will begin at 1:15pm and 2:30pm. Champions and awards will be announced late afternoon.
Vintage cars of the 1910s and 1920s will be stationed overlooking the bandstand for photo opportunities and rides at 1:15pm, 2:30pm and 6:45. Be sure to chat with the drivers to learn more about motoring in the roaring 20s!
Please be sure to head over to our special guest, R. W. Tintypes of Harrisburg, Penna, to enjoy a sitting for your choice of an authentic 8x10 ($100) or 4x5 ($65) tintype! Experience photography as it was at the turn of the century with a keepsake from Sieber's Traditional Jazz and Ragtime Festival. Plates will be developed on site and ready for guests to take home within 45 minutes of your sitting. Additional plates are available at $20 each! Please be sure to chat with R. W. In between sets from our talented performers, enjoy the crackle of authentic 1920s records being played on the old Victrola! Come up to the stage to learn more about the history of the phonograph while enjoying the sweet sounds of old shellac records.
In continuing with the theme of the 1920s, guests are encouraged to join in with era attire, should they like! Please keep in mind that era outfits are certainly not required, though!
