Siddharth Thakur (सिद्धार्थ ठाकुर) completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (with a major in Electrical Engineering) from the National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NITUK), Srinagar Garhwal, India in the year 2022. He has a UG Research experience under the supervision of Prof Sudeb Dasgupta, Professor of Microelectronics and VLSI at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), in the broad area of MOS Devices. Thakur was a part of the research group headed by Dr. Nitanshu Chauhan (Ph.D., IIT Roorkee), Assistant Professor at NIT Uttarakhand, working on "Designing and Implementation of FeFET Device using TCAD." Thakur joined Prof Y S Chauhan's research group, Nanolab. He began working towards his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microelectronics and VLSI, Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), India, after completing his Bachelor's degree in the year 2022.
Thakur works in nanoelectronics and is involved with the GaN group. He has a background in GaN-based Low Noise Amplifier / Power Amplifier (LNA/PA) design and is proficient with RF and DC measurements.
