This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Application, you agree to this Policy.
Basic profile and contact details you choose to submit (e.g., name, phone, email).
In-app forms and support messages.
Device & app info (model, OS version, app version, language, IP address).
Usage data (screens viewed, timestamps, session length, performance and crash logs).
What: Precise location only while you are actively using the app (foreground).
Why: Assign and track rides, navigation/ETA, proof of pickup/delivery, and service reliability.
Not collected in background: The Application does not collect or use location when the app is closed or not in use. We removed background location access.
Provide and operate core features (job assignment, live tracking, navigation, proofs).
Communicate important updates (service notices, operational messages).
Ensure safety, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Improve performance, quality, and reliability of the Application.
We do not sell personal data. We may share:
With affiliated hospitals/labs/dispatchers only as needed to fulfill rides and service logistics.
With service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) under contracts that restrict independent use.
For legal, safety, or compliance reasons when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We request only the permissions needed for the app to function:
Location
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION – obtain precise/approximate location while the app is in use to assign/track rides and provide navigation/ETAs.
We do not request or use ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION.
Foreground service
FOREGROUND_SERVICE (and, on Android 14+, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION if applicable) – allows continuous foreground location updates while you’re actively using the app (e.g., during an ongoing ride) with a persistent notification.
Camera
CAMERA – capture photos (e.g., pickup/delivery proof, document scans).
Microphone (if used)
RECORD_AUDIO – capture audio for in-app voice features (e.g., voice notes). If you don’t use any audio features, disable this permission in-app or in system settings.
Biometric/Device unlock (if used)
USE_BIOMETRIC/USE_FINGERPRINT – optional quick sign-in or access confirmation.
Files & Media (only if your workflow attaches images/docs)
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (legacy devices) – read/write images or PDFs you attach as proof or receive as reports.
Network
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – connect to our servers and verify connectivity.
User control: You can manage permissions anytime in device Settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
We keep data only as long as needed for operations, regulatory requirements, dispute resolution, and security. If you would like your user-provided data deleted, email info@riayatech.ae and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
The Application is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our protections.
Permissions: enable/disable in device Settings.
Access/Deletion: email info@riayatech.ae to request access or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to legal limits.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new Policy on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Application means you accept the updated Policy.
