Showcased at the SAIC 2024 Fall Undergraduate Exhibition and the New England Quilt Museum's show Just Wanna Copyright for Makers, "If It Is The End Of My World, I Do Not Want To Be Fast Asleep," is a project that lives in the grey between history and fiction. Through comics, this fictitious interview across time with British-American author Christopher Isherwood (1904-1986) uses words from his writings and interviews to discuss queerness and fascism.
This project is currently being expanded into a full-length graphic novel as part of Gard's MFA work.
