SORAYA LACERDA

Hello everyone! I am a Librarian in the paper, and a passionate educator at heart. At the moment I work at Thomas Maker, Casa Thomas Jefferson's Maker educational program, since 2015. At Thomas Maker, my team and I work to design and offer creative and active learning experiences in order to foster democratic access to digital prototyping technology, and also with teacher education programs to promote a broader use of active and creative learning methodologies in their classrooms.

Since 2019 I am also a facilitator at Educamidia, a non-profit media literacy program here in Brazil, created to train teachers and educators to engage society in the media education process of young people.
