As part of the Mechatronics Master's degree, a group project worth 15 credits called the HK project is included.
Students are grouped into teams of 8 according to their interests and each team is handed a real-world mechatronics project.
I was part of Team RELOX and our project was to automate the golf ball picking robot developed by RELOX Robotics AB.
As seen from the image, the prototype consisted of a two wheeled robot that drags a golf ball picking trailer.
The group was sub-divided into two groups working on the two main subsystems of the robot, namely, Positioning the robot by following the right track and securing the Connection of the trailer both mechanically and electrically.
