The hunt hunts the hunter, revealing how what is pursued can also pursue. "Sidereal" by Aidan Edwards, Sana Goel, and Cleo Luna June, explores this dynamic through sound, video, and cyanotype, unfolding in three phases that move from "Aphelion", "Pandemonium", and "Transcendence". Each stage carries its own tension, reflecting the unpredictability of instinct, attention, and presence. The forest becomes both a setting and a participant, a space that feels alive and perhaps unsettling. Movement and sound balance the line between control and surrender, observer and observed. Grounded in mythology and the persistence of obsession, Sidereal never fully resolves; rather, it constantly returns to itself, suggesting a continuous interplay between seeking and being sought. Perception and environment shape one another, making the act of searching both active and responsive. Sidereal is an experience that carries on beyond any single moment.
