So, this all started with my wife, Courtney, who is a working artist and poet, and who for a long time had a private practice as a massage therapist and reiki master. She is a natural creative healer and her clients loved her, but she had little interest in the bookkeeping and administrative side of running a small business.

That's where I came in.

As someone for whom dealing with budgets, systems, and compliance issues was bread and butter (and who routinely dreams of Excel spreadsheets), I was in a position to take over those details for Courtney, set up processes that made sense to her, and complete the routine maintenance. It was all right up my alley.

Now that I have left my career in higher education, I would like to offer the same inclusive, caring, and accepting support to other creatives, non-profits, and anyone else who is chasing an entrepreneurial dream.
