Educational Details

 Dr. Siddhi Baskaware has completed her doctoral research in Garcinia indica with respect to areas of Plant reproductive biology and Radiation Biology. The title of research was - STUDIES IN GARCINIA INDICA (CHOISY) WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO APOMIXIS AND RADIOMODULATORY ACTIVITY. She worked under the guidance of Guide - Dr. Manjushri A. Deodhar (Redt. Asso. Prof, Dept of Botany, KET's V. G. Vaze College) and Co-guide- Narinder K. Sharma, Scientific Officer F, Radiation Biology and Health Sciences Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.  

 Dr. Siddhi Baskaware has completed her Master's Degree - Botany with specialization in Cytogenetics, Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from Ramnarain Ruia College (University of Mumbai) in 2017. Siddhi has been awarded the Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) , a component under “Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research”  (INSPIRE) Program , which is a flagship scheme of Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Ministry of  Science and Technology, Government of India in the 2012 Batch. The INSPIRE scholarship continued for a period of 5 years till her post-graduation studies.

  Siddhi Baskaware has completed her Bachelor's Degree in Botany from KET's V. G. Vaze College (University of Mumbai) in 2015. Siddhi has been awarded the Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) , a component under “Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research”  (INSPIRE) Program , which is a flagship scheme of Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Ministry of  Science and Technology, Government of India in the 2012 Batch.
