My approach to teaching is deeply rooted in the belief that learning is most impactful when it engages students in active, experiential experiences. At the end of the day, I believe that students need some insight into themselves as individuals in an increasing complex society. In today’s rapidly evolving world, knowledge is never static. Thus, I aim to create a learning environment that encourages students to go beyond passive absorption of information, fostering their ability to solve problems, think critically, and take initiative well after they leave my classroom and the university. Central to this approach are three guiding principles: experiential learning, self-driven motivation, and the ability to navigate paradigms and uncertainty.

My research agenda has grown to encompass issues surrounding everyday life, comfort, and environmental factors. I became increasingly interested in the mundane yet significant aspects of human existence, particularly the relationships and practices that are often overlooked in mainstream research. My intellectual stance has evolved into a blend of Structural Functionalism, Eco-Cultural Marxist-Feminist theory, reflecting my desire to understand power dynamics, ecological concerns, and the intricacies of social relationships. My questions are ever growing with ever more research and empirical studies I conduct, much like Umberto Eco’s Library mine is one of ideas.
