About Library

Vision & Mission of Library:

with the establishment of Siddharth Arts,Commerce and Science College in the 1991 's the Department of Library is also established. Year by year many intellectual teachers with their helping hands have increased the quality ratio of library. Rare books and various reference books are available in the library. Library is having built up area of 2100 sq.ft. Today the library has its separate Reading Room for student and Teachers. The intake capacity of reading room is fifty students and 25 respectively Teacher. We have tried to make update library with E-Resources ( Inflibnet N-List facility) with internet facility for student and teacher.Our Library is computerized with SOUL 3.0 Software. Working hours of Library is from 9.00 A.M.to 5.30 P.M. on all working days including Vacations. The Library also open on Sunday and other holidays during the Examination Periods.

The primary mission of library is to help student, teaching and Non-teaching staff in teaching learning process. The IT revolution in the library has taken over a dynamic phase of fulfilling the need of knowledge society and to promote stakeholder become global citizen.

Objectivity:

● To promote the reading habits among students.

● To create leaning friendly environment in term resources and services.

● TO develop & promote policies and program required for research .

● To support teaching - leaning process by providing necessary learning resources.

● To promote the user with ICT to draw out requisite information.

● The library aims as becoming gateway to global knowledge pool.

● To provide library services to the community around for study and research.
