제1회 글로벌 콜로키움 안내: 3월 26일(목)

중앙대학교 첨단영상대학원 영상콘텐츠융합연구소에서는 다양한 분야의 해외 유수 학자들을 초청하여 글로벌 콜로키움을 개최하고 있습니다. 

이번 글로벌 콜로키움에서는 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill의 홍선하(Sun-ha Hong) 교수님을 모시고 강연 및 토론을 진행합니다.

• 발표자: Sun-ha Hong (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)

• 발표자 소개: Sun-ha Hong is Associate Professor at UNC–Chapel Hill (Communication / Data Science and Society). Drawing on critical theory and STS, he analyzes the politics of power in algorithmic prediction, smart machines, and Silicon Valley technoculture. He is the author of the award-winning Technologies of Speculation(2020) and the forthcoming Predictions Without Futures. His work has appeared in Big Data & Society and History & Theory. Before UNC, he was a faculty member at Simon Fraser University and a postdoctoral scholar at MIT.
