Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Play Chess (“Application”) for mobile devices created by Sicilian Games. This Chess App allows you to Play Chess against a built-in Chess Engine. It has 10 different levels to play against from Novice / Beginner to Expert. The Leader Board feature shows your score, wins and losses against each of the ten levels. The Settings screen allows you to change features including Chess Engine Level, Move List and to reset the Leader Board. This App also includes a section on the Rules of Chess for those that are new to Chess.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

This Application allows the optional creation of a Chess Player Name - which are used only for the Leader Board feature to provide score comparisons on the same Mobile Device. The Settings Page provides a default Chess Player Name that can be overwritten or remain unchanged. The Player Name can be fictitious and can bear no resemblance to the owner of the Mobile Device. The Application does not collect or save any Mobile Device Owner Information - there is no requirement for actual real names, passwords or any other Sensitive Information.

There is no automatic collection of Mobile Device Owner Information - no automatic or manual request is made for Mobile Device Owner Information such as name, passwords, addresses, phone numbers, nor any other Sensitive Information.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not request or require the real time location information of the mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Application does not collect information and therefore does not send information to 3rd parties.

Automatic Data Collection and Advertising

This Application uses the Google AdMob platform for the delivery of Advertisements - there is no sensitive information sent to the AdMob platform from the Application.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at SicilianGamesApps@gmail.com. We will delete such information from our files with immediate effect.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide safeguards to protect any information we process and maintain.
