About the Conference
Rigor, Relevance and Resilience (3Rs) in Business & Management Research- One of the biggest challenges facing management scientists has been the struggle to produce knowledge that is both academically rigorous and applicable to practicing managers. It’s important to take initiative if management science is to survive and thrive as a relevant as well as rigorous science. Research in applied fields has to be responsive to the needs of business and industry to make it useful and practicable for them. The issues pertaining to the social relevance of academic research carried out in the eco-system of higher education and questions about its relevance to the needs of the nation for faster socio-economic growth hardly figures in any platform. Individual researchers must accept the responsibility of pursuing research that is both rigorous and relevant because only such research can remain resilient and impactful.
