By train

The nearest railway station is Terme Euganee in Montegrotto, on the Bologna–Padua line, served by all major trains. Alternatively, the Padua station on the Milan–Venice line is just as convenient and is served by all main national and international routes. From the square in front of Padua station, buses A, M, T, and AT depart every hour for Abano and Montegrotto (travel time: 30–45 minutes). Both stations offer taxi services.

By plane

Flying is also a convenient option for reaching Abano and Montegrotto. The closest airport is Venice Airport (60 km), served by major national and international airlines. From there, you can reach the Euganean Spas by taxi or via the direct Airport–Abano–Montegrotto bus line (travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes). The international airports of Treviso (70 km) and Verona (80 km) are also relatively nearby and easy to reach.
