1. Safety Notice for Augmented Reality (AR) Experiences

MCAR: Malaysian Cuisine AR (“Application”) includes interactive AR content designed for educational and culinary exploration purposes. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, especially for children:

• Always use the Application under parental or guardian supervision.

• Be aware of your surroundings and avoid using the app in unsafe areas.

• Use AR features in open, well-lit spaces away from roads, stairs, water, or sharp objects.

• Take regular breaks to avoid eye strain or fatigue.

2. Child Privacy

We respect children’s privacy and comply with Google Play Families Policy and applicable child protection laws.

• The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• Camera access is used only for AR food scanning and interaction.

• The Application does not record, store, or share photos, videos, or camera data.

• No facial recognition, biometric, or background scanning is performed.

3. Camera Disclosure

The Application requests access to the device camera only for AR features such as scanning object or interactive culinary experiences.

• No images or videos are saved, transmitted, or analyzed for identification purposes.

• Camera access is strictly limited to real-time AR object recognition.

4. Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect limited non-personal technical information to improve performance, stability, and user experience, such as:

• Device type and model

• Operating system version

• Application usage statistics (app crashes, performance data)

• Anonymous analytics data

No personally identifiable information is collected.

5. Third-Party Services

The Application may use third-party services essential for functionality, such as Google Play Services.

• These services may collect limited non-personal information according to their own privacy policies.
