Students seeking accommodation support should request it on the Registration form.
Others may book at a local hotel:
Best Western Robert Treat Hotel. A limited number of rooms are available at the NJIT rate until October 12. You must call the front desk at (973) 622-1000 and use code 3886 to get this rate.
Hampton Inns and Suites Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk (a little farther away)
There are many other major-chain hotels near NJIT.
Trains
Amtrak, NJ Transit and the PATH train all serve Newark Penn Station. NJ Transit also serves Newark Broad Street.
NJIT is within a 15-20 minute walk from both stations.
From Newark Penn, you can take the Newark Light Rail. Buy an Underground Fare from the machine for $0.75, validate it, and board at the far track for a train bound for Branch Brook Park or Grove Street. Get out at Warren Street/NJIT.
Food & Drink
Lunches and coffee breaks will be provided at the conference. A few nearby options for breakfast and dinner, mostly fast-food, are on the map below.
