SOCIAL IDENTITY IN AGENT-BASED MODELS
SIAM (Social Identity in Agent-based Models) is a Scientific Network funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
The aim of the project is to support the activities of an interdisciplinary working group focusing on the formalization of social identity approach through means of agent-based modelling. Members of the network are international researchers with diverse backgrounds from modelling to social psychology, but with a shared interest in the social identity approach to understand complex social phenomena as intergroup conflict, cooperation, norms, etc. Workshops are organized where members can bring their knowledge to a common ground and contribute to research outputs.
The SIAM coordinators are Geeske Scholz (Delft University) and Nanda Wijermans (Stockholm University).
