SiafPOS is a restaurant Point of Sale and Restaurant Management application designed for restaurant staff such as Waiters, Kitchen Staff, and Managers. The application connects with the restaurant’s authorized SiafPOS Desktop system to manage restaurant operations.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how your restaurant uses SiafPOS, the application may process the following information:

Employee or staff name
Username
Staff role such as Waiter, Kitchen, or Manager
Employee identifier
Login/session authentication information
Passwords are used for authentication and should be stored securely by the connected SiafPOS system.
Customer Information
Authorized restaurant staff may enter customer information such as:

Mobile number

Address
Order history
Loyalty or customer-related information
This information is used only for restaurant operations and customer management.

2. Camera Permission
SiafPOS may request access to the device camera.
The camera is used primarily to:
Scan a SiafPOS pairing QR code
Connect the mobile application with an authorized SiafPOS Desktop system
Camera access is not used for advertising or unrelated tracking.
3. Local Network and Internet Access
SiafPOS may communicate with a restaurant’s Desktop POS system using:
Local Wi-Fi
Local Area Network (LAN)
Internet-based services where configured
The application may use network connectivity to synchronize restaurant data such as orders, tables, KOT status, customer information, and operational updates.
4. How We Use Information
Information processed by SiafPOS may be used to:
Authenticate restaurant staff
Manage staff roles and permissions
Take and manage restaurant orders
Assign waiters to orders
Manage restaurant tables
Send KOTs to the kitchen
Update kitchen order status
Manage customer details
Generate or manage bills
Display restaurant reports
Synchronize mobile devices with the restaurant POS system
Maintain security and system functionality
We do not use restaurant or customer information for unrelated advertising purposes.
5. Data Storage
SiafPOS is designed primarily as a restaurant business management system.
Depending on the restaurant's configuration, data may be stored:
On the restaurant’s local SiafPOS Desktop computer
In a local restaurant database
On authorized connected devices
On cloud or remote infrastructure configured by the restaurant, where applicable
The restaurant or business using SiafPOS is responsible for controlling access to its restaurant, employee, and customer information.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared only when necessary:
Between authorized SiafPOS Desktop and mobile devices
With services required to operate features configured by the restaurant
When required by applicable law or a lawful authority
When necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service
Restaurant owners are responsible for ensuring their staff access only information they are authorized to use.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by SiafPOS.
These measures may include:

Backup and restore mechanisms
However, no electronic system or data transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Restaurants may manage or remove their stored data according to their own business requirements and the available SiafPOS administrative tools.

Users or customers who wish to request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information should first contact the restaurant or business that collected the information through SiafPOS.

10. Children's Privacy
SiafPOS is a business and restaurant management application and is not designed as a service directed toward children.

SiafPOS may use third-party technologies or services required for application functionality, device communication, operating system functionality, hosting, analytics, notifications, payment integrations, or other optional services.

The restaurant administrator should review any third-party integrations enabled in its SiafPOS installation.
